Dr. Wolfgang Vieweg

Ich (Jahrgang 1949) war nach meinem Ingenieur- und BWL-Studium fast 20 Jahre in leitender oder geschäftsführender, kauf­männischer Position in mehreren Unter­nehmen tätig – vom Familien­betrieb bis zum internationalen Großkonzern.

Von 1998 bis Ende 2014 lehrte ich als Professor Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Rech­nungs­wesen/Controlling und Wirtschaftsethik an der Hochschule für angewandte Wissen­schaften Würzburg-Schweinfurt.

Seit 1995 bin ich zudem als freier Unter­nehmens­berater aktiv und unterstütze vor­wiegend StartUp- und mittelständische Unter­nehmen. Außerdem schreibe ich Bücher sowie Aufsätze und halte gelegentlich Vorträge über mein Leib- und Magenthema:

Dr. Wolfgang Vieweg

After my diploma in Computer Engineering and
after my graduation in Business Administration I (born in 1949) worked as a senior executive or as a managing director for almost 20 years in several companies – from medium size family enterprises to a big internationally operating corporation.

From the year of 1998 to the end of 2014 I teached as professor for Business Administration, Accounting/Controlling and Business Ethics at the University of applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Germany.

Besides this I am also active as an independent consultant, supporting startups and medium-sized companies over two decades. Furthermore I write books and essays and give lectures from time to time on my pet subject:
Management by Options.
